Asan Memorial Institute Of Management conducts full time MCA and MBA programs, both approved AICTE, Government of India and affiliated to the University of Madras. The M C A STUDENTS ASSOCIATION of Asan is organizing its Eighth Annual Mega Event – The IT Fest- BYTE IT on 25th february 2011
This Symposium will be held at Asan Memorial College Auditorium in the Institute Campus at Jaladampet, Velachery – Tambaram Road, Chennai-100. It is expected that all around 400 students from various colleges in Tamil Nadu and other Sothern States will participate in this IT Meet
The various events are open to students from PG, and other Professional courses. Attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners of respective events and also to the participants in order to encourage the competitive spirit and to recognize and reward their talents.

PAPER PRESENTATION
Topics:

• Ø Holographic versatile disc
• Ø Hyper threading technology
• Ø Open source technology
• Ø Network security in 3G mobile system
• Ø Future programming techniques & concepts

a)     One team per each Department
b)    2 participants per team
c)     10 minutes per team

• 7 minutes Presentation Time
• 3 minutes Q & A

d)    The written material should not exceed 15 Pages.
e)     The abstract should reach us on or before 14-02-2011 to byteit11.ppt@gmail.com.
f)  The selected team will be informed through e-mail on or before 19-02-11.
g)  One Hard Copy and One Soft Copy should be submitted on the
day of event.


SURPRISE EVENT
a)     One team per each Department

d)    Duration – 30 minutes for prelims,  finals
